I was wondering if UC, upon admissions, requires a freshmen-junior year high school transcript. Since the early action deadline is December 1st, it would be impossible to get my senior semester in. So I understand the freshmen-junior year thing. But after 1st quarter of senior year, does your GPA change at all on your transcript? I remember being able to access my transcript at the end of 3rd quarter, and saw that my rank changed a bit (don’t remember if GPA changed). But now I am a rising senior and finished off with a good unweighted GPA in junior year.
The evaluate you based on transcripts through your junior year. If accepted, your final transcripts are required prior to matriculation. Potentially your acceptance can be rescinded, if your Senior year grades have a material effect on your GPA, however, it would take a substantial collapse in GPA for them even to consider that option, and you would be given a chance to explain. Don’t get bit by Senioritis.
Thank you! I’m a bit worried that I will encounter more sleepless nights like I did junior year, but I will make sure to work super hard during senior year.
A good rule of thumb is to avoid getting "D"s during senior year.
