Transcript-IB Grades at a very selective school

Hey,

Im really nervous cos I just sent off my transcript to Stanford and Im not sure bout my Grades. Basically my school is the top ranked school in the UK, and the teachers are such harsh markers, I got a 44 prediction which was really good but for my grades over the past year have been a few 5's, mainly 6's and then a few 7's. For my latest grades I got 6 7's and 3 6's and 1 5. Is this good enough ? Should I be getting 5's and should I be getting all 7's at this point?? I am predicted all 7's in the end.

Aghh please help i am very nervous

Hmm...how many classes are you currently taking? I'd say if you have a 44 prediction then you're in excellent shape. US colleges don't have "required" set grades like UCAS does, but a 44 will do you no harm. However, I'm a bit confused by your grades. How can your teachers predict you at straight 7s if you've gotten mainly 6s, and a few 5s and 7s?
