Transcript instead of SRAR

The Pitt app is giving me some difficulty. I want to send my transcript instead of the SRAR but the site keeps stating that my application is incomplete with out the coursework entered. How do I fix it so my application does not read as incomplete?

Have you entered the High School/College(s) attended but do not have anything entered in the “Enter Coursework” section? What message exactly are you getting when it is saying the application is incomplete? It should highlight on the page exactly what is missing in red.

I entered the High School attended and have not entered anything in the “Enter Coursework” section.

This is what appears on the “Review” page:

Based upon your expected/entered high school graduation year, there does not appear to be any senior-year coursework currently entered on your Online App.

While you may not yet have received grades in courses you are currently taking, it is important that they are listed as part of your academic record. Courses currently being taken should be listed with the grade set to ‘In-Progress’.

To correct this, return to the ‘Enter Coursework’ screen and ensure that courses are entered for the 2015-2016 academic year. If you are not graduating from high school in 2016, return to the ‘Enter High Schools/Colleges’ screen and correct your high school graduation year.

You are submitting your complete academic record for the school(s) listed below including coursework in progress. Be sure that the information you provide includes all secondary schools you have attended, and that all courses and grades are included and accurate.

Once your academic record has been submitted it is considered a final document and cannot be modified. You will be asked to verify the completeness and accuracy of your secondary school record with your online signature. It is very important that you carefully review your academic record for any omissions/errors and modify it accordingly now. You must be certain it is complete and correct before you mark it as complete.

When my D applied last year there was no self reporting option, we sent a transcript. But she still had to list the courses she was taking her senior year. It sounds that you didn’t do that.

Your transcript would only include your courses and grades including junior year. Pitt wants to know what courses you are taking senior year.

@chicagogirl18, If you plan to submit a transcript instead of the self reported academic record, you must go back to the academic record section and delete all of the info you have filled in there (including senior grades). The system views your record as incomplete if you have anything in that section filled in but opt not to fill in the rest.
