Transcript Miscommunication on Common App

Sooo its a pretty long story however my junior year of high-school I received a 79 in physics then was told my school that the grade would be changed to an 80 due to a miscalculation of my final.

At the time of applying a college I noted that that the change would occur on my transcript and that my overall gpa would be bumped for a 89.8 to around a 90 then a month later my school told me they would no longer changing my grade. Today the college admissions officer for said college emailed my school asking about this grade stating that I said my entire physics grade should be a 90 (I guess she misread) and now I feel like now I look like a liar. will this ruin my chances? its literally 1 percent.

Maybe it will. Maybe it won’t. Try to stop worrying about this. Lots of students miscalculate their grades and it is the admissions team’s job to sort through that kind of stuff.

The colleges will use your official transcript for that info. At this point don’t worry about it.
