I'm a rising senior, have a 3.5-3.7 uw, 1100 hours of ec activities and a 35 act as well as a 2240 sat. Does anyone know of any respectable schools that are transcript optional or don't take gpa into consideration that I couldn't get into otherwise? Thanks

Devry, ITT Tech, A lot of Community Colleges all have open admissions.

Most community colleges are open admissions. Some public universities are as well. In other words, if you have a high school diploma, you are an automatic admit. Many community colleges don’t even ask for a high school diploma, they may be willing to admit you without one if you are over a certain age.

Most colleges and universities in the US will admit you without a high school diploma or transcript if you have passed the GED exam. In California, you can take the CHSPE.

But, considering your current GPA and your exam scores, there are plenty of places that would be willing to throw a lot of money at you. Why do you think you need a “transcript-free” option?

If you’re looking for a good school that JUST considers SAT scores but not grades (since yours seem to be a bit unbalanced), I don’t think you’ll find one, sorry.

Dude; your GPA is great for many respectable schools that DO look at transcript, your SAT is great, and EC’s show commitment. Just apply to some public universities in your state and you’re set.
