So I requested my transcript to be sent to my state flagship 2 weeks ago. My school does the online request thing and it says it's STILL pending. I know the counseling people have been there for more than 2 weeks and I just really want them to get it sent out. Do you think I should say something to my college counselor or just wait a couple more weeks? What really worries me is if this happens and they miss a deadline.....

come on bump.

Pick up the phone.

Call the university.

Ask if they have indeed received the transcript or not.

If they haven’t, thank them politely.

Then call your college counselor and ask when it was sent.

I know they haven’t because on my app status page it says they haven’t. Also on the transcript request thing my school uses online it says it’s pending (as in not mailed). I’m just wondering if this sort of thing takes high schools a few weeks to get sent out?

Happykid’s HS asks for 4 weeks notice before transcripts are due. Your HS may have a different policy.

I suggested calling on the phone because sometimes the paperwork has arrived but the information hasn’t yet been entered into the computer system.
