Transcript problems...?

Hey guys,
I live in Washington State. I am taking the IB Diploma Program and have a 4.0 GPA and am in IB Calculus this year, meaning that I have been taking high school math classes since 7th grade. Since I got A's in my math classes in 7th and 8th grades, my junior high counselors told me that I should put my two A's on my transcript. So I did. The problem is, now my weighted class rank is 10 when it should be 1. The way our school weights is
(weighted points)/(total number of classes). So for example, if I had 5 points of weight spread out over 26 classes (my two extra math classes), and someone else has 5 points of weight spread out over 24 classes, their weighted GPA is going to be higher than mine. I am absolutely positive that there are not ten kids in my high school with higher weighted GPA's than me because I am taking 1 class shy of the highest weighted GPA possible at my school (300 language class only counts as "honors"), and no one with a 400 language or higher or who is in Calculus as a junior has a 4.0 unweighted GPA.
So, my question is: Is there any way to get these courses off of my transcript? I know that it's an official government document and everything. I am going to go to the state with my parents and try and petition or something because having a rank of 10/520 rather than 1/520 lowers my AI from a 9 to a 7...!

I’m dumb . . . bear with me:

You are saying that your weighted GPA is 5.0. And, the way your school calculates rank is to take the weighted GPA and divide it by the # of classes.

So it would (theoretically) be possible for someone to take ONE class, get an A in it, and be ranked #1 in your school?

i’m not sure what my weighted gpa is. i only know that my weighted rank is 10. Say I take an IB class; that counts for, let’s say, 1 point of weight (idk what it is exactly). So if I take 12 IB classes, I would have 12 points of weight, divided by all of my classes that I’ve taken in high school. And yes, that would be possible but you couldn’t graduate high school with the state requirements by taking only one class.

Hey, I also live in Washington and I’m in a similar situation. Mine does not involve IB classes or anything, but I am having trouble with my transcript. I had done what is called “Fast Start” in my district and added Algebra 1 and Geometry from 7th/8th grade to my high school transcript(I received B’s both semesters in both classes). This was before I knew that my GPA would be important to me. I had originally thought that having the most credits was the best and now i regret it, but no one had advised me that this would impact my GPA and it would be a poor decision and now I am looking to find a way to take the two classes of my transcript. I have yet to speak with my counselor, but I am interested in how your situation will turn out. Please keep me updated!

yes i know what you mean. I feel as if I was mislead by my junior high counselors because they told me that undoubtedly it would be a good idea to add these grades to my transcript. My high school is HIGHLY competitive and probably 10 students have GPA’s of 4.0 while taking the maximum number of IB’s and AP’s possible. I should be ahead of them, however, because I am in a higher math class (Juniors usually take Pre-Calc). But instead I am being penalized because I listened to my junior high counselors when my schedule is actually harder than theirs.

Exactly how i feel. I as a sophomore am taking the most AP’s out of my sophomore class and because of that stupid mistake my GPA is crap and at my school they don’t even do weighted GPA’s
