<p>OK, so when I submitted my college apps, my high school counselor put in an outdated transcript that said I was rank 2.
But I was actually rank 1, and that's what I wrote in for the Common Application. </p>

<p>you should contact the schools you applied to directly and inform them of your counselor’s mistake. do it by phone, and by email, asking them if they will still accept an updated version of your transcript. I think it’s only fair :\ it was your counselor that did it, not you.</p>

<p>Your high school can send mid-year transcripts with the updated rank. Have your counselor sent those directly (not from you).</p>
