I've looked for this here and other places, so forgive me if it's been addressed. How does one list and compute classes still being taken? We are doing early action, so we haven't officially finished the first semester. I don't foresee my son doing anything other than the all A's he's gotten the past 3 (or 11) years, but I don't think the colleges would even taken anything seriously if I went ahead and listed his courses and grades..... On every sample I've seen so far, everything is inclusive of 12th. Thank you for any information! -- btw, my son is applying primarily to music conservatories, a couple of which (Berklee, for example) do not even look at SAT scores, so that part is not on what we're doing now. Some of the other schools, which we are not doing early action on, I can amend later.

Oops, sorry, “take” not taken. I really should preview my posts!

Hi shellybean,

On your transcripts and applications, you’ll just list the classes for this year without grades. All schools will ask for a mid-year report. (The Common App. has a place for the mid-year report) At that time, you can list the grades.

HTH!

Thank you! I am submitting his first one tonight. This is exciting. Thanks for your help.
