Do all transcripts from colleges where credit was earned send separate transcripts for the med school apps?
Or does the University of graduation just send one all inclusive one?
There is a unique reason for this question. Son's high school offered AP English and DE English together. It was one class, (with 2 separate fees). ( it gave him high school credit, college credit and AP at the same time).
The University has the credit listed as AP where it transferred in, However, it was also DE....so... If a Med school requires college English then I would prefer the DE transcript go separately. It is probably not as issue due to the University requiring 6hrs upper level writing anyway... But I am curious how this works.

Yes, you are required to send an official transcript from every college that you attended. This includes any institution from which you may have earned dual-enrollment credits during high school.

Your son will need to send official transcripts from his DE institution even if his college recorded the credit as AP. (His enrollment will generate a “hit” in the national student enrollment clearinghouse and failure to send the transcript will result in delay in the verification of his application.)

How a specific medical school will view the course–that will depend on the specific policies of that school. (No guarantees it will count it as fulfilling a specific school’s writing/English requirements.)

Great. Thank you.
