Transcript Question

My GPA is around a 3.5 UW right now and I applied last week to IU. My question is are they going to offer me a scholarship based on the 3.5 or are they going to wait until January/February to see what my grades were first semester of senior year before they offer anything

They will offer you a scholarship based on the 3.5. If you do well first semester, you can mail/fax those grades to the admissions office, and they will reconsider your scholarship. Dcho got his scholarship raised from 6 to 7K I believe. I didn't get mine raised, even though I went up from a 3.63 average to a 3.83 1st semester GPA, so I don't know how they evaluate.

do you know about how much someone with a 3.5 uw gpa and over 50 community college credits may recieve? Also are there any scholarships for students whose parents went to the school?

Thanks

the increase in scholarship is based on the sat I score or act score not the gpa.
