I am a student from British Columbia and our transcript will only list grades from grade 10 to 12. Is it o.k. if my counselor just submits a transcript with grades from 10 to 12?

I heard that you have to purchase or something to get your grade nine grades listed on the transcript.
I sent an email for inquiry but I have not yet received any answer.

Since our senior high starts in grade 10 and ends in grade 12 (same goes with our class percentile calculation and GPA calculation), and since that I screwed up my freshman years, I may not wish to send my grade nine grades.

This is my grades from grade 9 to 11:

Grade 9--
English 84
Math 86 (it is considered an A in British Columbia)
Science 78 (it is considered a B in British Columbia)
History 78 (it is considered a B in British Columbia)

Grade 10--
English 94
Math 97
Science 96
History 95

Grade 11--
English 93
Math 96
Chemistry 94
Physics 95
Biology 93
History 97
Mandarin 93

I am an incoming freshmen for Cornell and yeah I come from B.C as well. To my understanding, you have to send in everything from grade 8 to 12. Of course, if you are doing IB (like me) , you also have to send in your predicted. There should be $1 dollar charge for every transcript requested, but most of times, counsellors ain't that mean.

mz16: Thank you for your reply. However, I just asked my counselor today and she still said only grades from grade 10 to 12 will be printed.

Furthermore, I did poorly in grade nine. Universities like Stanford and Princeton don't look at grade nine courses or marks. There is no point sending bad grades if they don't even want to look at it.

I don't know about Cornell. But if grade nine grades don't mean a lot to Cornell, I may not want to send my grade nine scores.

For universities such as Stanford, I am not willing to pay extra for special request (including grade nine on the transcript, which means you have to pay a little extra).

Also, if you live in B.C. you should know that the senior high in B.C. is from grade 10 to 12 as well.
