<p>Did anyone else get an email requesting a faxed copy of their transcript following the admissions committee's preliminary review of the application? Does. This mean they are on the fence about my application?</p>
<p>I didn’t get any email like this O_o. I thought they only ask for transcripts after you’ve been accepted.</p>

<p>I’m out of state, and I am not a transfer. I sent it all in today, but it just seems an odd request. Am I really alone in this? The email came from the admissions counselor not any sort of automation. It also requested I not call them concerning this request as they are too busy. It was a little old, but both my parents went there and I grew up right near campus. Hoping I get in!!</p>
<p>maybe something seems fishy, so they want to see it to verify you got the grades you said you did.</p>
<p>It’s very possible that it’s just because you are out of state. They are very familiar with WA high schools and their grading scales, etc. But they aren’t familiar with out of state schools, so maybe they just need some clarification about how your school grades.</p>
<p>If they were suspicious or thought you had lied, they would not be asking for a faxed copy – they would want a sealed transcript sent directly from your school. I honestly wouldn’t worry about it at all.</p>
