I am applying to a few different schools that have transfer deadlines for March 1st. It says that everything must be sent in and post marked by March 1st, or else it will not be considered. I am waiting for this quarters grades to finish towards the end of February, and I was wondering if I had everything in besides my transcript if they will throw my application out? I mean lets say the school is a few days late on sending my transcripts out, will that kill my application and admission chances?

i dont think it will, they usually give u an extra 2 weeks to turn stuff in after the deadline. But just incase, you should call or email the schools letting them know whats going on with your transcript so they can put a note on your file.

It's really not a problem- the most basic parts of the application (fee, essays, etc.) must be in by the deadline. Many times, supplementary materials come trailing in after the deadline and it's not a problem. After all, it's not your fault if you school sends the transcript and it gets there a few days late. It won't hurt you, so don't sweat it. Just do your part the best that you can. Good luck
