Transcript Sending? Please answer!!

Hello everyone,

I'm transferring next semester to a different school. Now am I allowed to the send my transcript myself to the school I am transferring to? I'm so lost please help

I assume you are talking about transferring colleges. No, you cannot sent a copy of your transcript yourself. You can request an official transcript from your current school and they could give that to you in a sealed envelop, which you can then send to the college you are applying. Sometimes a school will send it directly to the college for your, so you need find out for your college what their process is. You may even be able to request a transcript online or via email.

Yes I’m talking about college lol. I requested my transcript to be sent to my home address; so do I just take that and send it to the school I am transferring to? Or do I have to request my school to send it to the other school

Well since you stated that you had it sent to your house your option is to then send it to the school that you are planning on transferring to.

Sent from my iPod touch using CC

Yes, if your college sends the official (sealed) transcript to your house, you then mail that to the college you are applying. When my D transferred, she ordered 3, as she didn’t know how many colleges she would be applying, and when they came it was clear that the first large envelop was the shipping envelop, the next envelop contained the 3 sealed transcripts. She took one of the sealed transcripts and dropped it into its own envelop with a short note to admissions. You don’t need to also ask your school to send one direct to the new college if you are forwarding them a sealed hardcopy.
