<p>I was planning on applying to Georgetown, but at the end of last year we were released on our holiday break a few days early and I was unable to tell the officials in my school's transcript office that I wanted to apply. It was something of a late decision. I'm afraid that, because of the time it takes to process requests at my school, that my transcript won't be postmarked by the 1/10/09 deadline (this Sunday). If my transcript is postmarked a couple of weeks late, would my still application be considered? This is assuming I submit the application today. I hope it's not too late to apply.</p>
<p>You can read many threads on this topic. You need to make sure the requirements YOU have control of go in on time. Colleges realize it sometimes takes time for HSs to get their act together getting their info in. You will be given some leeway.</p>
