So I'm applying to about 6 american universities. I go to a regular private brazilian HS not international or anything like that, so all my official school transcripts are in portuguese.
I sent them to a translator, and I got an official translation of all my documents. My question is: can I simply photocopy those translations and send them along with my official transcripts? Because I only got one copy of the translation, and I need to sent it to 6 different colleges. What do I do? Has anyone passed through this situation? Help pleease!!

You do this:
First photocopy the translation
And then ask your high school’s principal to sign the photocopy and write ‘Attested’ below his/her signature
Put your high school’s stamp on the photocopy

that’s all…

If I do that there will be no problems?
I was thinking about getting official signed by a judge copies. So it’s not necessary?

I didn’t get you :S…could you please ask that question again…

No, there won’t be any problems.

One more thing, I think it will be better to put the stamp of translating agency in the photocopy too.

^^I mean like, getting notarized copies.

I would ask the admissions department of each of the schools you are applying to, but most likely, you will need to have your transcripts evaluated as well.

Check with the schools for recommendations but most will tell you it has to be evaluated by one of the NACES members (naces.org).
