transcript v.s gpa

top of the class out of 226 people, very competitive school.
my gpa is 3.73 UW, and 4,15 W.

The reason is i took 18 ap classes, which dropped my gpa, but i am still valedictorian.

how will the admission people at Ivies look at my transcript, if it has loads of b+s?

Happy new year everyone

your transcript is more important at schools that “matter” to you [assuming you are applying to top schools[

i mean some top schools look at gpa for bs reasons [Penn/Stanford]

I would say that an AP-filled transcript with decent to good grades is always better than one filled with normal classes but perfect grades. The reason is that in the first situation, the student challenged him or herself.
