I just recently SIRed to UCSD on August 10th after appealing to extend the SIR deadline and was wondering what it means by “Verify if Transcripts has been Validated.” I am a CA native who originally intended to go to college in the east coast but due to some circumstances (multiple deaths of close loved ones/mom losing job) my grades went down and I got rescinded. UCSD let me SIR knowing that my grades went down but not by how much. I got a D in an A-G requirement class but underneath the “Verify if Transcripts has been Validated” it says requirement met; does this mean I’m okay?
Yes. Usually no news is good news. If it says requirements have been met, it means admissions has reviewed your transcript, clearing you to attend.
