Hi guys,

I was rescinded because UCSD didn't get my transcript and because of a bad grade. I turned in my appeal and have been waiting to hear the official decision. When I log in to tritON, I can once again see the page that says "Welcome to the UC San Diego application status site. We are pleased you have accepted our offer of admission to UC San Diego!" and I can see the checklist.

On the checklist, it says that my transcript has been received and validated HOWEVER when I check my holds, I still have the one that says my admission has been cancelled.

When I looked this up on OASIS (OASIS UCSD), it said:

"The final validation process of transcripts confirms that all freshman admissions provisions have been cleared. If you have received a grade lower than a "C", in any A-G coursework during grade 12, or your weighted GPA for A-G coursework in grade 12 is below a 3.0, you must provide a written explanation as soon as possible to the Office of Admissions and Relation With Schools."

SO what I'm asking is does this mean I am or most likely will be reinstated (because on OASIS it said validation meant all freshman admission provisions were cleared)? Or does it not really mean anything?

I'm going to call the admissions office tomorrow but I'd really appreciate any feedback.

Thank you!
