Transcript

The deadline for Regular decision is the 15th of January…and I’m debating on whether to send my transcript (up to Junior year) right now, or wait until my Senior 1st semester grade is added (meaning getting the transcript in January and sending it before the 15th). What should I do? What do others usually do? I’m guessing that everyone send it their transcripts without the senior year grades.

With my first semester grade, I think my weighted GPA and my class rank will go up a little bit and might be in the 10 % range (so far about 13 %)…beacuse they add 10 points to AP classes and I’m taking many…but…my Calculus grade is not gonna look pleasant…so yeah…help!

If your grades don't come in until after the 15th of January, just send em in anyway. They have that deadline just so applications are in. Obviously, have your full transcript in as updated as it is before the 15th. If the senior semester grades come in after, just send them after. I'm sure they will add them. They don't touch these applications for at least 2 or 3 months so they have no problem just tossing an extra paper in their file. Make sure to call the admissions office to confirm that they got the new grades.

Okay, so I'm guessing "Jan 1st" is the POSTMARK deadline. I was not sure about it, and did not have the chance to call the office of adm. Thanks. I'll send my transcript to BU asap.

im confused. do i need to have my transcript and letters in by jan 1 or is it the 15th? i hope its the 15th because i wont get back to school to do it until the 2nd! could someone please clarify!?

Just send it as soon as you can. The day they are available, have them sent fast. Don't kill yourself over the deadline. Just have them sent and everything should be fine. Don't hold me to this. But I think that there isn't too much to worry about.

When I was a senior, I sent in my transcript and then they asked me to send my senior grades when available...so just send what you have and they'll add your senior grades when you get them.
