Transcript?

From what I’ve read online, Cal Poly does not want undergrad applicants to send in their high school transcripts until after they graduate. Is this true? If so, why? It seems weird to me that they don’t want applicants’ transcripts during the admissions process for evaluation…

I haven’t gotten around to filling in the app yet, but I believe you report your classes and grades in the app. They trust that you fill in truthful information, and if they find out you didn’t when you send in the transcript, they will withdraw their offer.

ipopova is correct so, do be careful when you enter your grades.

ok well my gpa is 3.67 for 10+11th LOL but i put 3.69 cause i thought it was 9-11th grades instead. so uh… thts not bad is it?

Alright. For Cal Poly app, you write your 10th-11th grade gpa. But when they receive your app, they go back into it and calculate 9th grade as well. So it’s okay if you typed in the wrong gpa.

I saw this and it made me double check my app and sure enough…
I listed two classes as full year classes when they should be only half. I moved and the way my new school works is different from my old school so that was what threw me off. They’re only intro to word processing and web design. should I call and report the error?

I don’t know if you have to, but I don’t see a reason to not correct it.

I sent an email since it said to send an email for questions or comments about my application. So I’ll just leave it at that.
