Transcripts and Recommendations

If we took classes at a community college, do we have the CC send it themselves or do we take the transcript and send it ourselves?

Are there any papers needed to go with a college transcript? (HS Transcript request is for HS only? or can it be used for college too?)

And, for recommendations, is it okay if I just send in a counselor's recommendation rather than a counselor + teacher?

Your Transcript has to be Official and Sealed, I think most schools send it directly

as for the reccomendations.. I called USC just the other day and they said reccomendations are not necessary and if you decide to send one in have it be something really good. I took that as have it be someone whos someone. I'm sure the reccomendations won't hurt either way though.

recommendations are required.....and yes you can send just a counselor rec if you want to. only one is required

YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE TRANSCRIPTS OFFICIAL...and i called them and they said for community college transcripts you ask them to send it with one of your USC stickers on the envelope. (but it's not really required if your SSN is on it)

If I don't have the USC stickers on the envelope, but I wrote my USCID on the transcript request form, is that okay? Or should I go get my envelope and write the USCID on the envelope?

If it's already sent..is that okay? should i call and let them know?

if you have your USC id on the transcript request form you should be okay..
