I've applied too (UCSB, UCSD, UCI, and Cal). So far I've received an email from UCSD that told me not to send them any transcripts yet. And UCI said I should send a transcript.. I think.

I'm kind of confused, do I only send a transcript to the school that admits me. Or do you send transcripts sooner like this month or in January?

Also my IGETC will be completed by the end of this upcoming spring semester. Do i have to wait until the end of the semester to get the certificate and send it to the UC?

There’s an online grade report the you have to do between Jan 9-Jan31 (same place as UC App). Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe you only send transcripts to the UC you plan to attend.

IGETC certification is done at the end of the semester/quarter before you transfer. Ask your CC to certify it and send it to the UC you plan on attending.

You should ONLY send transcripts and IGETC certification to the UC that has admitted you and to which you intend to enroll. This occurs in July. The exception is if you are applying to a major that requires a supplemental application, in that case you may be required to submit an official or unofficial transcript to the major department directly.

You are REQUIRED to complete the Transfer Academic Update in January, otherwise your UC application will be designated incomplete.

@Ryan2136, You may not receive your acceptance until the end of April and financial aid information won’t come out until late-April to mid-May. If you are enrolled at your college for Spring term, your final, official transcript won’t be available until end of June at the earliest.
