Transcripts checkmark

^ received, validated or both?

TienIsCoolX: My school sent in the transcript. and i also sent in the transcripts myself just in case my school got lazy and didnt sent them....but apparently ucsd did not receive either of them even tho they were all sent in approximately 2 weeks ago....

i may be repeating someone else, but what i've been told is that UCSD may have already received your transcript and they're just taking awhile to update tritonlink. i think they said it might take like, 10 business days .. which is about 2 weeks.

Your schools all suck lol. My school sent in my transcript on July 2nd and UCSD had the transcript received checked off on July 6th. (that's not even a week!)

should i call admissions?

definitely.

it all depends. i'm out of state (tx) and my transcript was sent around may 30th but a checkmark in the "received" box didn't even show up until a couple of weeks ago. it has yet to be verified.

i guess we should just stop worrying. we've done all that we can -- we just have to wait it out.

so i called but they said they didnt have it and that theres a chance that they will resign you if they dont get it

Hey ric, so this is what just happened to me today. my box wasn't checked off so i called admissions and they took note of it and told me to ask my high school about it. I go and find out that they sent it to University of San Diego, not UCSD. ugh. well, i got the transcript, sent it off just now, and called admissions to let them know. they were nice and said they took note of it so it's gonna be okay. thank goodness i checked today.
so if it's the high school's fault, i'm sure they won't just revoke your admission. find out when your high school sent it and try making sure they sent it to the right place/address

well i called my high school and they said the registrar was out. I called my friend and he told me he asked the registrar and she sent them on tuesday now im freaking out because they should be there. well if i get rescinded ill work 8 hours a day 6 days a week to survive no big deal ;D

^lol your one damn optimistic person

Would they care if you send in two copies? (you know, scared that the first one got lost in the mail).

Yeah, you'll be automatically rescinded.

Nah just kidding, I've done that with ALL of my forms I send to them so far, what I usually do is one priority mail for 4~ dollars, and one normal mail for like 41 cents.

well, what if you sent in your high school transcripts on time but not cc transcripts

guys, my boxes still havent been checked yet! i'm freaking out MANN!!

they dont check mark until AFTEr 15th...

ihavenolife
mine hasnt either and i think the registrar didnt send my transcript, but im not freaking out because working min wage isnt that bad :D

lol ric, you won't be working for minimum wage because if UCSD rescinds you, all you have to do is send them a letter explaining that your high school registrar is a horse's ass. They'll just ask for another copy of your transcript. I would go to my high school and personally ask for the transcripts instead of them mailing it out since they obviously can't even do that.

Iran.4:
I don't know what you're referring to but every single one of my boxes has been checked off except "Transcripts Validated."

^You can't really ask the high school to give you the official transcript because you could theoretically alter it. UCSD needs to get it straight from the school to make sure you aren't a fraudulent douchebag.

My high school gives us two choices:

They could send it themselves.

They give us the transcript and we send it ourselves.

When I called UCSD about the transcripts, the lady told me to keep a transcript handy in case the one the school sends gets lost in the mail. Yeah... I don't think UCSD is too worried about the "altering" thing...

Besides, how is UCSD going to distinguish which ones were sent directly by high schools and which ones were sent by students themselves.

hehehe mine is still unchecked
