@peepingtom please help

Ok here we go.
You have to send sealed copies of your report card from 11th and 12th. When asked about 9th and 10th, say that you were home schooled (send the NIOS certificate). You have to send the mid year report when your 1st terminal exams results are out and final report when your pre-board results are out. Also, attach a predicted 12th boards results on a separate sheet.
To sum it all up:
Right Now,

 • send the NIOS certificate, attach a sheet if you want to explain reasons why you home schooled in 9th and 10th
 • send the 11th report card
 • send the 12th report card (1st terminal/semester) w/ mid year report
 • send projected grades in boards exams on a separate sheet

Finally, when available

 • send the 12th report card (final/pre-board) w/ final report
 • send the certificate (12th board)

Also, don’t forget to ask GC to complete the GC forms (2, to be exact)

 • School Profile
 • Counselor recommendation

@peepingtom well even though NIOS is considered homeschooling.I went to a school with nios board so They attested the marksheets therfore I don’t think it is considered as homeschooling and The support help in common app said that my current school can send even my 10th marksheets along with the current one’s.Is mid-year report compulsory and Everybody including my external counselor told me that you only need to send final exams marks for 9th,10th,11th and 12th.My sat sucks 1810 I got into MSU(my safe school) Do you think I have a chance for penn state, Purdue, VT for busniess

I’m not sure about the mid year and final report. Email the school(s) perhaps?
Are you a full freight student? Your chances somewhat depend on how much you can pay.

@peepingtom money is not a problem at all. Infact I hope I get more preference because I can afford to pay.Can you tell me some good colleges which want full paying international students with 1810

@int1900 If money’s really not an issue, then I’d highly recommend that you raise your SAT score because then you could get into some really great colleges. You got an 1800 which means that there is a lot of room for improvement, with a little effort you can easily raise your score by 300-350 points. I can help you with the preparation if you want.

@peepingtom I wish the same but what to do I didn’t prep much because I decided only a few months back and theres no time to take it again because i’ve to apply to all colleges by jan and study for my boards but I’m not too disappointed because I don’t mind studying in universities like penn state and purdue where my chances of getting in is neither very high nor very low.I’ve seen many people get into those with my sats. Where are you from?? ill definetly recommend you to my friends who are plannning to take the sat. And does purdue give more weight to sat math score mine is 700, reading is what that messes up my score 520:( Do you think I atleast have a 50/50 chance of getting into penn state or purdue. And last would you like to read my penn state essay???

Yes, definitely. Just present yourself at your best and apply well before the deadline. At Big State Universities, decisions are mostly made on stats, and 1850 can definitely get you in. Just don’t write a very crappy essay.

@peepingtom would you like to read my penn state essay?

sure PM me! Just don’t post it on the forums.
