When I was a freshman I attended a private catholic high school, and after one year I transferred to my local public school where I have been for three years and am now a senior.
Ive applied to all my colleges now, but I just got an email from one school saying they cant process my application because they do not have the transcript from the catholic school I went to when I was a freshman.
Will all colleges expect two transcripts like this? The transcript from my public school includes all four years of my studies, including the grades from my freshman year, so I never thought it would be an issue, but is it?

Thanks so much.

Many will, I think. You could contact admissions offices and ask each one whether they will or they won’t. Sounds like you have some phone calls to make on January 2.

I’m in a similar situtation, and thogh I listed two schools on my common app, my current transcript has a miniature copy of my old transcript (complete with CEEB codes and course coding) on it. I only had one school at first not accept the new school transcript, but I called them and they pulled the current transcript up and said it was fine. My other thirteen schools have all been fine with the one transcript I sent, actually-- no missing items notification yet and all portals are showing that I am clear.
