<p>I sent all eight of my common app. applications before the deadline but completely forgot to mail my transcripts. Now I wonder if all my work has been in vain. My councilor sent the school forms and all parts of my application appear as completed/downloaded but I am not sure whether she sent the transcript electronically. Why does this not appear on the website? It would make my life so much easier. Anyway, my question is, are my chances ruined because I did not send a transcript postmarked by the college deadlines? </p>

<p>Edit: I looked through the common app. website and found this written on one of their presentations about school forms:
"Counselors MUST upload a transcript when submitting a Secondary<br>
School Report, Midyear Report, or Final Report.</p>
<p>Counselors can upload up to 5 transcripts.
</p>
<p>All Common App schools agree to accept these transcripts as official documents for the purpose of determining admission to the college or university."</p>
<p>So because my counselor did submit the secondary school report does this mean everything is fine, or is the student still required to mail a transcript?</p>
<p>The student doesn’t do the mailing, the school does. Talk to your counselor and find out if/when she mailed or uploaded these transcripts. Try to look for a verification of this, like if she has a mail receipt or received an email from the commonapp.org. The school does not necessarily have to email these documents just because the website says so; the school can mail them.</p>
<p>The website still has a red arrow next to the “school forms” section for me, even though all of my documents have been mailed. I think it just says that because mine weren’t uploaded electronically.</p>
<p>Thank you so much for the reply. I am confused because my school actually requires us to request a transcript to mail, and I actually have a stack of them sitting in my room that gave me a fright today. My counselor did request one of the official transcripts I received from the registrar so I hope this means she uploaded it along with the School Report, but I can’t be sure.</p>
