Transcripts question - CC to Cal Poly Pomona

I’m new to transferring, this is my first application.

I applied to Cal Poly Pomona from CalSate Apply website. There I added my own transcripts manually and submitted my app late July. The CalSate Apply website says waiting on transcripts. I have logged into the CPP site and says “no action required”.

I would be transferring from El Camino community collage. Do I request my official transcripts from my community college and send it to Cal Poly? If so how do I do that?

They have a link on the El Camino community college website to send transcripts out but i don’t know the process. It seems El Camino sends electronic transcripts through “TranscriptsNetwork”, and Cal Poly accepts e-transcripts through eTranscript California, SPEEDE, and Parchment.

So would I need to send them by mail? If so, where, what address?

If anyone can give me some help to this process, I didn’t realize they didn’t request them automatically. Unless they do with the new CalSate Apply website that took over the CSUMentor site.

Yes, you have to send official transcripts to CPP and go to El Camino CC registrar office where they can guide you through the process.

Thank you for your help ‘Gumbymom’, but I don’t have time to visit the college office as I work full time 6 days a week and live kind of far from it. I was hoping someone knew the online process. I guess I’ll take a chance and hope it all works out when I attempt at ordering them online.

Call your CC’s register office and I am sure they can walk you through it.

Hi again. I was looking to see if anyone knew anything about winter 2018 CPP admissions specifically. My school didn’t have any info other then to go to their website and figure it out in my own. I finally got a hold of CPP on the phone and they were very helpful.

They said that I don’t need to send in my official transcripts until maybe a month from now. That it will appear on my ‘to do’ list on my CPP portal website. So i shouldn’t request them until then.

Thank you for your help, I was worried since applications for winter closes on the 31st this month.
