<p>I'm just curious if you have to submit a separate paper transcript to each of the common app schools you apply to. I was under the impression you have to but someone told me today that the transcript is included in the secondary school report that your counselor sends in. It kind of matters for me because my school charges per transcript you request.</p>
<p>If anyone could clear this up I'd really appreciate it. :)</p>
<p>Hello
OK, CA schools do not require a school report via post/mail/whatever. In the school forms section you just have to assign a school counselor (who UPLOADS your school records including your transcript) and 2 or 3 teachers (who will UPLOAD your recommendation and stuff). So no need to request for a transcript. When you assign your counselor and teachers an email notification will be sent to the email address you provided. If you do not want to pay, tell your teachers NOT TO CLICK ON THE “OPT OUT” link also provided with the email. This will make the teacher/counselor an “offline provider” meaning that they will have to fill up your forms (reports and recommendations) by HAND and POST them. Make sure about this thing cuz it sometimes happens that a counselor selects to opt out by accident.
Happened to me 2 days ago. My physix teacher accidentally selected to opt out and now I have to go to his home today and give him my paper recommendation forms :(</p>
