Hey guys, Quick question. So when I apply this August for Fall 2015 at UCLA, what is the application form like? I mean, do I hand enter all my CCC classes and grades through next Spring into the system, and then they verify them through the transcripts? It's not an important question, just real curious since the application begins in August, yet grades are not completed until the end of next Spring. Wondering how they make their decision without transcripts? Thanks.

It’s all online. You enter the semesters/quarters for your CC(s) and then you put in the classes and the grades you received for every semester/quarter.

You don’t submit transcripts until they admit you and submit your SIR to the school. All your information is self-reported. They ask for transcripts to verify what you put in at the end.

@k4201505 Thanks! Since it’s sort of a rolling application, do you think they watch it as it progresses, or do they just wait until Spring? Just curious if someone is actually following along and making assumptions/decisions as the semesters roll on. Thanks again. :)

Rolling application? The application doesn’t close until November ends. They don’t check the apps until after the transfer academic update, which opens at the beginning of January and closes at the end of the month. Once that is over, decisions start coming out from March to end of April, depending on the school.

Ah, I see, sorry for the confusion, didn’t really understand it. Thanks for clearing that up. :)
