Transcripts? Urgentt!!!!!!

hey guys, so since am changing schools in 12th, my principal has asked me to give her a sample transcript format so as that she can make one!! can anyone please PLEASE tell me what the format of the transcript is? i have been in this school for grade 9, 10, 11!
also, does the transcript has to have the marks-grade of just one year at a time or all 3 years in one transcript???
also, my present V.P who will be leaving after this academic year will be leaving, so what do i do when the college contacts the school and the VP isnt there?? (the VP will be writing me a recommendation letter before leaving and since he knows me from like 5-6 years, he pretty much knows ALL about me and the research and stuff, so he'll be giving me the strongest reco. letter!! ) gosh! -_-
(PS. am the only applicant from my school, and our school NEVER had a counsellor)
please respond asap , thank you!!

Bump bump bump!!

I have the same situation, My VP will retire in March and I am also the only applicant from my school.

Anyways I had all my marks, grades and class rank typed on the school letter head ( Class IX, Class X Preboards, Class XI, Class XII Preboards ) signed and stamped by my VP and He also sent my CBSE X and CBSE XII marksheets separately.

I had emailed the schools regarding the retirement of my VP - They said they do not generally call up schools till you are accepted and if they do most probably they only verify things like if you really studied in that school or not. ( If your school doesn’t have a CEEB code, most probably they won’t call up your school ).

So if you are accepted, go and give all your documents ( LOR, transcripts, EC list ) to your new VP and let him know that he may get a call for verification of these items.

Maybe email them contact info for the VP in case they need it?

The commonapp forms require both you and your counselor to list your counselor’s email address and phone number. If your VP is acting as your counselor, s/he should fill in a permanent email address and phone number that s/he will have access to even after s/he leaves school. Even if your college form is not a commonapp, the same advice should apply.

Since the number of the school is also asked, the college may choose to call the school. It would be wise to inform your school administrators that you are be expecting a call from such-and-such college (a call will only occur if and after you are admitted to that college). You should tell your administrators that if they find themselves unable to answer questions about you, they should tell the caller to call your VP/counselor.

They won’t really ask specific questions though, IF they call. I am pretty sure they don’t go around calling every single admit. They may call just to make sure you aren’t a total fraud and expect you to have followed the honor code beyond that point.

The transcript can be of any format as long as it contains the required grades. It should have all 3/4 years one one page. You can print every single grade you have gotten (one for every term for every subject in a grade) or an average of the term grades for the year (so you have one grade for every subject in a grade). My school averages the term grades for a year (So if your 10th grade marks in say, math, were 90, 93, and 94, you can choose to print all 3 or just 92.5 under 10:Math)
