My country's high school matriculation exams are scattered throughout the 10th,11th and 12th grades. during each of those years, an "end-of-the year" report card was given that consists of final grades in all the classes taken that year--not only the ones leading to a matriculation exam taken for the final matriculation certificate. Only a few months AFTER graduation we are given the actual certificate. If I'm planning on applying as a senior, and some of my matriculation exams obviously won't be taken yet, would I submit my transcripts from years past, grades from matriculation exams that I have taken AND predicted grades for the matriculation exams taken in the 12th grade? If not--which of those would I submit?

Just submit those from last years. However, you’ll have to submit the 12th grade report card when you have it, at the college you’ll enroll. But don’t worry about that until you finish high school.

Keep in mind that colleges ask for mid-year grades as well. From your post, it seems that your school system only gives grades at the end of the year. I’d advise you to ask colleges directly, or the Common Application guys if you use it, what to do in this case. Good luck!
