My school grades based on a quarterly system. They end in November, January, April, and June. Do schools only want the first quarter's grades or should I send in my second quarter marks as well, even if its past the deadline? (I already sent in my quarter 1 grades).

Last year, we updated my son’s file with the second quarter grades when they became available. Nobody asked us to; we just did because he had raised a grade and I thought it might me nice for them to see his midterm exam grades (which were included on the transcript).

I don’t think it’s necessary. We won’t send an update for my d unless asked to.

okay so schools basically just want your first quarter grades?
Also does anyone know the difference between a transcript and an official transcript
