If i listed on my uc app that i took a community college course, do i have to send in a college transcript? I took oceanography, and i had 6 other classes at my high school. I was planning to send in my transcript, but seems like the college has lost my veysey form so i owe around 150 dollars and it's very annoying to try to get this resolved so i'm considering just not sending it. I don't need it for credit, and most people i asked said that i do not need to. will i get my admission rescinded if i don't send it?

If you don't need it for credit, don't bother sending it in.

but can't that course still earn him units towards graduation?

It will get you units, and it will get you a better class registration time...

i have priority registration though so it shouldn't be a problem right?

Ohhhhhhh. Yeah, then it doesn't really matter.

i dunno i mean i'd still send it in for the units knowing that at the very least i didn't waste my time taking a course for absolutely nothing...

But thats $150 bucks for nothing, basically...

koolaznpygmy: Just to make sure, you're getting priority registration for something other than National Merit, right? Because UCSD had discontinued priority reg. for National Merit Scholars, but last I checked they haven't updated Tritonlink with that info.

ok kirklandwaterboy thats not worth 150 bucks so forget it. and i got the chancellors scholarship

if you were trying to graduate early or something, the $150 would be worth it, cuz you would need all the credits you can get, but if not, then don't worry about it.

ok fine touche. oh and beat up that squirrel for losing your veysey form what kind of irresponsible faculty is this
