Transcripts

I took Government at a community college, but got a B.
I was wondering will my real college see the grade if I don't send the transcript?

I don't think they will, it's not like public schools where records flow freely from one school to the next.

Of course if you want to transfer the credit from the community college to the real college, then of course they will see your grade.

I'm trying to keep my 4.0.
and a 3.0 for a B would drag it down.

So, I'd rather retake the class with prior knowledge, than get a bad mark.
If, I sound like a grade freak, I'm not. lol

My understanding has always been that you are required to send a transcript from every college and high school you've ever attended. Failure to do so being grounds for dismissal.

aigiqinf: i've always thought the same thing too

anhtimmy: but im not positive

I've seen a lot of these threads lately. As a student who takes a ton of distance learning courses, I feel qualified to tell you guys this. I'm not trying to rant. (LOL)

Why should it matter where you take the course? No one gets a "bye" on that bad grade they go freshman year, why does it matter if they took it in room 208 at his or her high school, or in 208 at his or her college?

I think that, frankly, too many people take college courses that either they aren't qualified for or they aren't ready to commit enough time to.

This isn't directed at any one person btw. :)
