If i took a class, algebra 2 at a community college, do i need to send an official transcript from the community college if it is already written on my high school transcript?

Yes. If you don't, the college will consider your application incomplete until the community college sends your transcript. geek_son had this experience. It has to be an official transcript from the school that issued the grade and/or credit (i.e., the CC).

thank you for your reply, greek_mom. i just went to the college to get the transcripts today. would it affect my application if they're late? the deadline was 1/1. i'm really nervous ><

No, it won't affect your application -- except that the Admissions folks won't start reviewing your application until all your materials are in. But it's ok that your transcript will get there after the deadline.
