Transcripts...

When do we turn them in?

when you get accepted.

does that mean we end up turning them in twice?

if we turn them in right after we get accepted then our spring final grades wont be on them…?

You turn in your transcript over the summer to whoever you SIR to.

so does that mean malishka was incorrect when he said right after we get accepted?

yes or no mr/mrs?

As far as I know, you turn your transcript in when you send your SIR (Statement of Intent to Register). So let’s say you get accepted into UCLA and UC Berkeley, and you decide to attend UC Berkeley. You send your SIR and transcript to UC Berkeley. You don’t need to send your transcript to UCLA since you decided not attend. I’m 90% sure this is how it works. Please feel free to correct me.

but you do that in may, how are they going to see your spring grades on transcript?

SIR is due June 1st; Spring session at PCC ends June 18th. Grades probably won’t post until the end of June. I’m willing to bet that we SIR first and then send in official transcripts once we get them. I doubt that waves upon waves of transferring students at PCC have been faced with a death-defying dilemma. Don’t worry about it.

if all goes well, i’ll be sending my SIR up north on may 1st.
the pains of this wait come in waves… and they all suck.

Once you decide which campus to attend, after reviewing your admissions offers, you will receive information on how to submit your final official transcripts from all Colleges and Universities you have attended. They normal UC deadline is July 15 for these records.

Thank you UCD Adm.
