I had my transcripts sent to UCLA about 4 weeks ago, but on MyUCLA it shows that they still have not been received, but my AP scores and bruin card photo are there. Has any one had their account show that their transcripts were received? Just wondering if I should be worried.
Thanks.

im in the same situation

it all depends on when your high school registrar sends out transcripts...I'm pretty sure high schools know that most colleges require a july postmark...they'll have it in on time

Yeah, I was worried about that too. I emailed my HS guidance counselor about it last week and he said they were all sent out a week before that. If it doesn't show up soon I'm calling them.

Don't worry. I called UCLA and they said they probably have it but they haven't found time to file it into their records yet. The lady I talked to said not to worry even if they find out they have not received the transcript by the deadline (July 15). They will just call and tell you to send another copy.

Why are your transcripts just being sent. You guys are either REALLY LATE or REALLY EARLY??? Please explain to me...Thanks

i dunno :( The registrar supposedly sent my transcripts sometime at the end of June. BUT it APPEARS like my transcript wasn't received on the myucla status site. Maybe it's just that they get SO many transcripts that they haven't gotten to mine yet, and therefore couldn't update my transcript status on myucla. Or maybe my registrar sent it to the wrong address and it ended up in Timbuktu. Oh well, I hope it's there somewhere...

G&T: You don't send UCs your transcripts until after you've been accepted and have decided to matriculate. You self-report your grades on your application. The postmark date for final, official transcripts is July 15th.

And I love how us '09ers freak out over everything :)

Better to freak out than not even care in the first place... :) oh well in our empty summers we, as incoming freshmen, need to worry about something no matter how trivial it is...that's part of why spend our time on these forums...I love the summer :) and I love the class of '09 :)

cheers to what waitingpatiently said!

My AP scores are not showing up even though I had college board senf them in mid june should I call AP services to find out if they sent them? Its not showing up on myucla my trandscipts did show up though. What would I need to have college board look up my file?

my scripts arent showing up either. =(

Would UCLA accept transcripts postmarked after the deadline? I just requested one from a local community college and they said it would take about three to four weeks to get it sent.

and UCLA still hasn't received my high school transcript, either. even though I requested that it be sent in mid-June...

Well, I'm assuming we don't need to worry, since I have yet to hear from anyone who's had notification their transcripts were actually received.

Mine have been received.

Nevermind then--resume worrying.

Well, the other girl from my school going(and who I talk to) has received confirmation about hers, too, so it's probably by school or when they came in. Ours were sent the 23rd of June. There are a lot of transcripts to go through.

Mine haven't been received. I sent the transcripts to college and one to myself, and I got mine, but UCLA hasn't

actually that's a good idea teall if they got to you then they mustv'e been received at ucla otherwise there would have been something sent to you saying there was a delivery problem. UCLA is lagging it and is only adding to their reputation for torturing prospective students. When all is said and done and wer'e "officially in" we'll look back on this and laugh.

Hmmm, as of this morning it says on myUCLA that they've received my transcripts. Excellent.
