<p>Applied second week of Feb. as an undergrad transfer to the Biomedical Sciences program. I applied for the Summer B 2012 term, but haven't heard back yet. Anyone got their 2012 decision yet? The suspense is killing me lol >_<</p>

<p>I applied back in January for fall 2012 and recently called to ask how much longer should I be expecting a decision. According to the person I spoke to, my application is currently under review by the admission director and she should I be getting a decision in the next few days. For reference, I made the call last Friday. Does anyone if they look at apps during spring break?</p>
<p>Eagleskyline, Since it is spring break, i do not think that the Admissions office is open and looking at apps, just like the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas. </p>
<p>I just got off the phone with them and they said “We are having trouble with all the paper work but things should be sorted out in the coming weeks…”
I think their spring break is the 24th to the 31th just like the college i am currently going to, but as i do not go to USF yet, it is only my best guess. So if they said you will know in the next few days, then I’m sure you will know in the next week or two. if not, call.</p>

<p>I had called admissions to make sure they have all my paperwork and they said yet and that they usually take 6-8 weeks to process everything :/</p>
<p>Although I know people who have received their USF acceptance within a few days of applying
*sigh, the suspense and uncertainty that comes with rolling admissions :(</p>

I just want to learn of my decision asap because I might submit my apartment this month to get $100 taken off a security deposit.
I go to UF at the moment and waiting to hear back from a university that accepted me in a week when I applied as a senior for two months is a bit grueling, but I guess it’s different for transfer students.</p>
<p>PrettyPeridot, today i had to call to see if they received my High School transcripts. I sent them in in January, they updated my profile today. Which is 2 months later. </p>
<p>They have a lot of paper work and people to take care of being it is 4 months before summer starts and 5 before Fall starts. So they are really busy. 6-8 weeks is what to expect during this time of year for USF.</p>
<p>I assume that they sent everything in a few months ahead of applying then, because i’ve always had to wait 6-8 weeks. </p>

<p>I, too, want to learn if i have been accepted or not. I want to be able to get the Dorm that i want. But seeing that it is March 7th, I do not know if i will be able to get the Dorm. Oh well, I have 3-6 years a head of me anyways. 
I’m also a transfer if you were wondering, so this is killing me all the same. Gah!</p>
<p>lol I’ve seen people posting they got accepted within a few days, even HOURS, after the university has received their transcripts/paperwork. These people all had 3.9-4.0+ GPA’s so maybe that has something to do with it, idk.</p>
<p>I know 6-8 weeks is what they say it takes but I know a lot of people who applied a little earlier than me for the FALL semester, and they have already heard back which makes me even more anxious lol</p>
<p>As long as I get good news they are welcome to take long 
but at the same time it would be nice to know soon because I’d have to move over to Tampa and I’d like to find a good place to live, get to know the area etc. Idk if any good dorms will be available by the time I apply, which really sucks :/</p>

<p>USF would give me more financial aid that doesn’t consist of loans. If I graduated UF I’d be over 32k in debt.</p>

<p>Spring Break is next week at USF: no classes. I’m not entirely positive, but I think the USF admissions people will still be working next week during the week break.</p>

I’ll be attending FSU though. How do I deny acceptance? Do I just ignore it and leave it or do I have to contact the school?</p>

<p>Ah good! I applied for fall so I’m waiting on that decision lol, probably taking a bit longer since they seem to be admitting summer apps as well.
Also, do you get an email if you get accepted or does it just say on oasis?</p>
