My daughter was accepted to Cornell as a freshman. She chose another top university and has regretted her decision since. She earned a 4.0 with 20 hours the first semester and will probably do the same this semester. My question: Does Cornell hold a grudge against students who did not choose Cornell? She applied for spring transfer and was not accepted.
What other top university does she go to now?
She attends Tulane University. Not Ivy, but another respected research university.
I doubt it. First of all, applying as a spring transfer your freshman year of college has low yield of success ESPECIALLY since it was an Ivy. Your daughter would have been far better off applying as a fall transfer.
