<p>Hello, I am trying to transfer into cal poly slo into business administration or econ from my cc and I have the igetc completed along with all the courses that assist.org suggested I complete. My gpa is 3.43 and I am involved in athletics at my cc ( Im not sure if that helps at all). I would really appreciate some feedback/advice on this. Thank you.</p>

<p>the only thing i had left for cal poly slo was stats which i am currently taking, and i have a 3.96 gpa. i heard from them the other day. WAITLISTED. i’m not sure why, but i thought i was a shoe in. =[</p>
<p>Just got denied with a 3.96. Probably because of that whole not completing their speech class thing…ah well. Dgaf! I just applied because it was free pretty much.</p>
<p>So anyways, complete their requirements and you’ll probably be ok.</p>
<p>I finished all pre reqs for poli-sci and have a 3.65 gpa and was wait listed… dam this really sucks. I took 23 units last semester so hopefully they just whant to see how i did with those classes before they decide…I am not going to be able to sleep now poly is my #1 choice</p>
<p>You probably got denied due to the high GPA. Some schools deny to boost their yield and assuming a 3.96 isn’t going to Cal poly .</p>

<p>I too got rejected today for electrical engineering. I have a 3.5 but I’m missing one physics class and I havn’t taken one other prereq that you can take before transferring. I’m pretty sure the lack of the physics class is what killed my chance.</p>

<p>I think we all learned that pre-requisites are the most important thing for Cal Poly.</p>
<p>I got rejected with a 3.75, but I’m not at all surprised because I realized about a week ago I applied Business admin (which I have 0 of the main prereqs for done) instead of Econ (which I had all the main prereqs done for). Oh well, thats what you get for being careless with your app. Glad its not my first or second or third choice.</p>
<p>I was rejected with a 3.0 for Child Development, 4/5 pre-reqs done, and my friend was waitlisted with a 3.6 for Poly Sci, with 2/4 pre-reqs done.</p>
<p>How do you guys know that you got rejected?? Did they send you an email or did u just sign in and there was a message?? Should everyone have their decisions by now??</p>
<p>Neither of us got an e-mail, we just logged onto the Cal Poly portal and it was there.</p>
