Transfer acceptance rate?? check it out! :o

Hey people, just out of curiosity, what is the acceptance rate for transfers ?? I guess the freshman rate is like 10% or something, but the transfer one is probably a lot higher..

any ideas?

also, are you allowed to apply for a primary and secondary choice ?

lastly, what do you think is the easiest school/major to get into ?

thanks! :)

Did you even bother to go to collegeboard.com? Because all your questions are answered there.

Except the last one. Which my answer to that is, it depends on where you fit in. If you have a bunch of Extra Curriculars related to Law, then maybe ILR school is easiest for you to get into etc...

Seriously though, help yourself first by using the search button.

yea i know there are posts, but i figured if any place to ask for statistics this would be the best, because im sure the people who are GENUINELY interested know a lot more than the hordes of ppl in the general forum..
and yea, i have been to that forum, i just wanted a second opinion to see what people here would say. ive also been to their website... so basically i know the answers, but i wanted to double check them aswell as maybe get new info.. im not even applying to cornell, im just curious

This is by college for 2008 http://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000156.pdf

oh cool thanks :) see i havent seen this before !
well good luck to anyone applying :)

It's higher than one might usually expect, but the applicant pool is pretty deep and the yield is tremendous.

Keep in mind, those numbers include guaranteed transfers.

Does anyone know how much of those numbers are GT's for each of the contract colleges?
