<p>Hey guys. I have applied for transfer admission to SMU for the Fall of 2013. I called the admissions office today to get a status of my application and I was told that they mailed my decision yesterday. However, one of my friends who transferred last year received an email of his acceptance before getting a packet in the mailbox. Has any other transfer student got in without receiving an email and finding out via snail mail?</p>

<p>Received my transfer decision on the 25th, but it was post marked for the 21st. Np word from financial aid or scholarship though.</p>
<p>I just spoke to someone in admissions and they said Fall 2013 transfer applications wouldn’t be looked at until April 1st! Now I have had a few individuals from the same office tell me it usually takes three weeks after all paperwork pertaining to the prospective student is received. What is the real answer?

<p>I applied at end of November and had all documents by jan. it won’t take until April you’ll here soon if u turned in your paperwork.</p>
<p>And yes I was accepted to fall 2013 for finance. No word on FA yet though.</p>
