hey guys, just a quick question, I know that transfer admission decisions are normally sent out towards the end of May/early June each year, but are these offers set on certain conditions, e.g. achieving 3.5 cumulative GPA by the end of freshman year? Or are they direct offers just like the normal First-Year admission decisions?

I've never heard of one that states you have to attain a certain GPA, however, I have talked to people who had their acceptances contingent upon them taking some courses over the summer.

I would say they are typically straight accept/reject, as others above have posted.

They are almost always "conditional" in the same sense that freshman admissions are - that you complete the year in a satisfactory manner. "Satisfactory" is usually not spelled out, but means that you should complete the year in substantially the same manner as what your admission was based on - ie, a little slippage in GPA could be fine, but a major difference could be a problem.
