How hard it is to transfer to Occidental? What r the statistics like(act average score, GPA, etc)? I'm an international student from Brazil who needs full ride and they are need-aware for intl's! Does Occidental tend to be more conservative or liberal? Thanks!

I’m not completely sure about transfer stats as far as GPA/test scores, but I found this:
Transfer Applications Received: 298
Transfer Applications Accepted: 113
Transfer Students Enrolled: 50
Transfer Application Acceptance Rate: 38%
Also, Occidental does tend to be more liberal. They like to boast that Barack Obama went there for a couple years before going to Columbia (although they don’t mention the last part).

[Occidental College :: Obama FAQs](http://www.oxy.edu/x7992.xml)

Barack Obama attended Occidental College from fall 1979 through spring 1981 and then transferred to Columbia University in New York. …

So, considering the 38% acceptance rate, would u say it’s easy to transfer to Oxy? Remember I need full ride!

They don’t give full ride merit scholarships…the full ride depends on your financial aid report/demonstrated need.
I would say it’s easier than other schools but not extraordinarily easy.
