I asked a few questions about transferring a few days ago but my main question was never really answered. I am a California resident attending a 4 year university out of state, but looking to transfer to UCSD. I assume I have lower priority than a CC student, but are my chances any better because i’m still a resident of California? I’ll be applying for chemistry, with biochemistry as my alternate major, and my GPA will be around 3.55 at the end of this semester and I should have my prereqs done. Ive already read this: https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfers-major but i’d like to know if anyone has any additional statistics or even anecdotes from a similar situation regarding residency.
