Transfer Admission Statistics

<p>I am going to UCLA this year and I plan to apply MIT as a transfer. I am an international student. I was wondering how many applications they receive and how many they accept. What are the chances of getting in with:</p>

Math Level 2: 800
Physics: 800
AP Cal BC, Physics C (E&M), Physics C (Mechanics), Chemistry: 5
GPA: 88/100
Class Rank: Top 5%
7th in Indian National Road Cycling Championships
1st in my State Road Cycling Championships
1st in Science, English and Math in my state
I hope that I will perform well enough at UCLA
I will be going to Dubai to get some work experience in June 2010
I will prepare outstanding essays
I was selected among top 100 students in Indian National Math Olympiad</p>

<p>Nonetheless it will always be difficult as a transfer.</p>

<p>thanks for the reply. I will be considering Berkeley, Caltech and Cornell also. Kindly chance for these. Also, is it worth going to Cornell from UCLA?</p>
