Transfer Admission

im in the process of applying to USC,UCLA,NYU,Syracuse, DePaul, Hofstra, Fordham and a few other universities as a Theater/Acting Major from Los Angeles City College for Fall 2012 admissions. I am a student worker really involved in special programs(student support services) and special clubs(anthropology and performing arts), also an athlete efficiently competitive in both soccer and basketball. I come from a single parent home was born and raised in south central los angeles but both of my parents are full blooded Honduran therefore i speak and write spanish fluently, i understand i will need to audition which i am more than ready for. I will audition pieces from Shakespeares "A Midsummer Nights Dream" & Aristophanes "The Wasps". I would like to get feedback from anyone who can give me some advice or encouragement on my presented chances

After a year of cc you can probably get into a lot of universities. Do a full 2 year transfer program and your high school grades become irrelevant to most universities… you can still get into top schools.

Theater admissions can be very different from admissions in other majors. You should re-post your questions in [Theater/Drama Majors - College Confidential](Theater/Drama Majors - College Confidential Forums)

Wishing you all the best.
