I was wondering if any students who were accepted transfer admission into Fordham could post there stats. Thanks alot!

Still waiting..... argh.

anyone?????????

here's to us!

oh yea....make sure your spring transcripts are in! Whenever you get your spring final grades, send them over. We will start reviewing them when we get it.

Hey,
I am still currently waiting for a decision as well, but I am almost sure I will be accepted. Fordham and Hofstra are my safety nets. I herd from UMD on Friday and will most likely be attending there. I still have to wait for scholarship and aid info.

How does Fordham to Transfer admission? by major or by school?

I need to move to NYC and have to continue my education but i am afaraid i have too many units for them to accept me. I dont care if none of my units transfer, i just have a lot. I am coming form UCLA. i never looked at fordham b4 but i just saw their GLOBE program and i think it would complement what i am learning at UCLA so very very well. (i am an international development major)

Anyways, What does fordham look for , anyone know?

I spoke to the Fordham office and they said they are waiting for spring grades before they look at the transfer applications. So no one should hear until all the transcripts are in--- mid to end of May for most schools.

I just called the Fordham admissions office and was told that they do not mail out transfer decision letters until July 1st. That seems very late to me. What if you need to put a deposit down on another school? Most want the deposit my mid-June for admitted transfers. Comments?

July 1st is late but it's just something we have to deal with. What is your transfer year and where are you coming from? Can you post your stats and your major as well? Do you have any plans for housing if your accepted?

I'm deffinetly not trying to rub it in but I was accepted through transfer admission. Here are my stats.

Transfering after my freshman year to Fordham's College of Business Administration

3.8 GPA
32 Credit hours
No extra curriculars
Work 30+ hours a week as a Finance Manager for a small company
What I believe to be the best essay i've ever written.

1100 SAT
Mediocre High School

I'm so happy I got in and will be attending in the Fall! I LOVE FORDHAM!

lilchris...when did you apply and when did you hear?

...and where did you transfer from?

Wahoo I got an email today that I have been accepted. I am going in as a junior. I am a little confused because my email said I was accepted to the Business school which is not the school I applied too. (I don't think... lol) I will give them a call to check on that. I will transfer from Manhattan College-- on the other side of the Bronx. GPA 3.7.. can not remeber my SATs but they were good-- coming from a hard and well known prep school for high school. I am very happy!

Braird.. I got the same e-mail. I applied to the Biology program. What does this mean? I called the admission dept. and nobody seems to know. What program did you apply to?

I applied for Philosophy-- I plan on going into law-- but if they want me to I will study business. :) I will call and see what response I get.

I just spoke with the office and it was a typo in my email about what school BUT I am in for sure.

Spoke to someone in admissions too....said it was most likely a typo and that it means I'm in.

is anyone looking for a roommate? Most transfer students do not get on campus housing so I am looking for someone who needs a roommate or some one who would like to get together and look for a place. Feel free to send me a PM so we can figure out how to deal with the lack of on campus housing. PS- I will party on weekends but during the week I like to study-- also I like things clean and orderly-- but I am not a freak but I respect other people and want the same.

Lincoln Center Communication and Arts Program Fall 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Accepted
